When someone asks me my approach to writing, I always talk about not forcing it. Stop trying to make it happen. Stop working on perfection. A great read!

The fictional Don Draper didn't invent this idea, but I love Mad Men, so it’s what I refer back to. The approach is simple: if you are stuck trying to find that one good idea: you need to step away from it.
