I agree with everything you've said except this. I think hunting for silver linings in negative situations can devalue what you're feeling. You're both allowed to feel negatively about something and let those feelings sit. It feels like you're trying to change how you feel about the situation and say that it's not ok to feel how you feel.

But I definitely agree dwelling on the past doesn't help, nor does reliving events over and again help. A great read!
